Ruby-GetTextを使ってアプリケーションを日本語化
環境

gettextをインストール

config/environment.rb に設定を追加
$KCODE = 'u' require 'jcode'
require 'gettext/rails'
ApplicationControllerにinit_gettextを追加
init_gettext "atotok"
init_gettextの引数に指定するテキストドメイン名は作成するpoファイルの名前と合わせる。
実行してみる
この状態でアプリケーションを起動しページを表示してみると下記のようなエラーになってしまう。

po/atotok.pot をpo/ja/atotok.poにコピーし、poファイルを編集し英語名を日本語に置き換える。
poからmoに変換
